We feel we owe our visitors some explanations.  It has been awhile since we announced the service will soon become available for open beta testing and there hasn't been an update since.  We would like to assure you that the service is not dead.  Initial testing showed that the technology used on the site may not have been scalable enough to handle larger number of users, alerts, and SEC filings.  To address the issue we have rebuilt the system from ground up and migrated to more powerful servers.

But enough technical details.  What exactly does this all mean to our users?  First of all, we are now much closer to sending beta invites to people who have been waiting to get them.  Also, this will positively affect the performance of the site and ensure uninterrupted service.  Read more on how to get beta invites.

We are pleased to announce that private beta testing has started. Currently, there is only a handful of users on the system. We are monitoring the performance of the alerting engine and gathering feedback from the beta testers. Once we feel comfortable with this round of testing we will send beta invites to more people. Stay tuned. In the mean time, sign up for our RSS updates and follow us on Twitter for upcoming news. You may also want to read about how to become a private tester.

Thank you everybody for helping us beta test.
